Member Service Representative: Montana Credit Union currently has an opening for a Member Service Representative. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional member service and will display a positive and professional attitude. We are looking for someone who takes personal initiative, is a team player and who will embrace the Credit Union’s philosophy. The MSR serves as a liaison between our members and the credit union. They greet and welcome members and visitors in a professional manner and provide prompt, efficient and accurate service in the processing of member transactions.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: responding to members’ requests, problems and complaints, and/or directing them to the appropriate team member for specific information and assistance, providing in-person and by-telephone both general and specific information concerning credit union products, services and policies, opening new accounts and servicing existing accounts, handling requests from members for transfers of shares to loan payments, share withdrawals, check requests, share certificate transactions, line of credit advances, and any other requests received from members, assisting with plastic card re-issue and disputes, closing accounts, setting up IRA’s, assisting members in balancing their accounts, and researching accounts for deposit, withdrawal, and loan payment discrepancies. MSR’s also promote credit union products and services based on member’s needs. Support Center Supervisor - The Support Center Supervisor is responsible for leading, supervising, coaching, mentoring and developing the support center staff. The supervisor guides and advises support center staff in the efficient handling of member needs and accurate transactional processes, resolves escalated member problems and helps with complex member questions. They build and strengthen relationships with co-workers and members, while maintaining a highly motivated, well-trained, and effective team. They direct and evaluate staff performance, and work collaboratively with other supervisors to ensure adequate coverage, scheduling, training, and workflow and productivity standards are met. Additionally, they maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of compliance, regulatory and security procedures relating both to the support center and the credit union, while ensuring operations are conducted in accordance with established MCU policies, procedures, guidelines and audit standards. They will also perform all primary duties and responsibilities of a support center representative, as needed.

In addition to managing the call center, the Support Center Supervisor will oversee a variety of back-office functions to include but not limited to: Share Draft/ACH processing, card balancing, return deposit check processing, online/remote fraud, wire errors, and oversee the credit union’s plastic card program (ordering, inventory, re-issues of ATM/Debit/Credit cards, etc.)    

Exemplary leadership skills, professionalism and integrity, a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and adherence to strict confidentiality are all key traits required to succeed in this position.       

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of core computer programs and an aptitude for working with technology, as well as the ability to effectively troubleshoot issues as they arise.            

3-5 years’ experience in a call center/support center at a financial institution is preferred, as is 2 years supervisory experience. A high school diploma and/or equivalent is required. 

 

 

Personal Video Teller (PVT) - Looking for a rewarding and stable career? We are looking for a full-time Teller/Personal Video Teller (PVT) to join our team. PVTs are responsible for serving members via our Personal Teller Machines as well as on the teller line (both lobby and drive up). This is a full-time position that includes rotating shifts to include opening, closing, and Saturdays.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and will display a positive and professional attitude. We are looking for someone who takes personal initiative, is a team player, and will embrace the Credit Union’s Philosophy (see “Vision Statement” and “Statement of Values” on Montana Credit Union’s homepage). Our Personal Video Tellers are responsible for processing a variety of financial transactions, including: check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, credit card and loan payments, and balancing of a cash drawer. Attention to detail, including verbal and written instructions, strict confidentiality, compliance with Credit Union regulations, and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems are required for this position.
