Teller Supervisor - Montana Credit Union is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Teller Supervisor. This position plays an integral role at Montana Credit Union and offers a rewarding career with competitive pay and excellent benefits. The person in this position is responsible for leading, supervising, coaching, and developing a team of tellers that includes both front line and personal video tellers (PVT’s).  This individual is also responsible for solving escalated member problems and/or helping with complex member questions or work-related matters; building and strengthening relations with members and co-workers; directing and evaluating staff performance; and coordinating schedules to ensure adequate branch coverage. The successful candidate will maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of compliance, regulatory and security procedures relating both to the teller area and the credit union and will ensure operations are conducted in accordance with established MCU policies, procedures, guidelines and audit standards.  They will perform all primary duties and responsibilities of a teller, as needed.

The Teller Supervisor serves as a mentor for staff and provides exemplary member service at all times. They will guide staff to promote our credit union’s philosophy and brand and assist members in achieving their financial goals. The successful candidate will demonstrate positive communication skills and cultivate a fun, yet efficient, work culture.

Requirements/Experience: Prior experience processing a variety of financial transactions, including: check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, credit card and loan payments, and balancing of a cash drawer. Attention to detail, including verbal and written instructions, strict confidentiality, compliance with Credit Union regulations, and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems are required for this position. If you have great attention to detail, are able to multi-task efficiently in a busy work environment, have outstanding interpersonal skills, and are able to work both independently and as part of a team, this could be the job for you!
