Vice President of Lending & Member Services:  The Vice President of Lending & Member Services is a key member of Montana Credit Union’s senior leadership team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of consumer lending, mortgage lending (including secondary market activities), indirect lending, and member services. This includes strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of loan underwriting, portfolio management, and member support operations.  

The VP ensures operational excellence, effective risk and compliance management, and consistently exceptional member experiences. Working closely with the Senior Vice President of Member Experience and other senior leaders, this role helps shape strategic direction, drive continuous improvement, and deliver financially sound solutions aligned with MCU’s mission and long-term goals.

The VP also serves as an external ambassador, building partnerships and supporting outreach initiatives that promote financial well-being across the community.

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field will be preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. A minimum of 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience within a financial institution is required, with a strong preference for candidates with direct experience in lending operations. We are looking for someone with proven expertise in consumer lending, mortgage lending (including secondary market), indirect lending, and member services, as well as a demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing, empowered teams, while effectively managing complex, cross-functional operations in a financial services environment.  

 

Mortgage Loan Processor:  The Mortgage Loan Processor is a key member of Montana Credit Union’s Real Estate team and plays a vital role in supporting members through the mortgage lending process, from application through closing. This full-time position is responsible for gathering and verifying financial documentation, reviewing loan applications, preparing disclosures, and coordinating closings.

With a detail-oriented approach and strong organizational skills, the Mortgage Loan Processor ensures each loan file is accurate, compliant, and ready for closing. This role works closely with the Mortgage Loan Supervisor, title companies, appraisers, and other stakeholders to deliver timely and seamless loan processing. Committed to providing exceptional service to members and business partners, the Mortgage Loan Processor helps guide members toward homeownership while upholding Montana Credit Union’s guiding values of Innovation, Dedication, Empowerment, and Authenticity.

Two years of mortgage or financial services experience is required, and experience with secondary market lending will be preferred. NMLS registration, or eligibility to register, is required. Successful applicants will exhibit strong integrity, professionalism, and fairness in decision-making, be highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills, and have a proactive and solutions-oriented approach when working with members.

 

 

Teller Supervisor:  The Teller Supervisor is a key leadership role at Montana Credit Union, responsible for managing and developing a high-performing teller team to ensure an exceptional and consistent member service experience.  This position oversees daily teller operations, mentors team members, manages staffing and scheduling, and ensures full compliance with all applicable regulations and credit union policies. Aligned with Montana Credit Union’s core values of Innovation, Dedication, Empowerment, and Authenticity, the Teller Supervisor fosters a collaborative, member-focused environment rooted in trust and professionalism.

The role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to support team development, drive process improvements, and maintain a secure, efficient operation. Regular Saturday availability is required to provide support and leadership to teller staff during weekend hours. A minimum of 5 years of teller or retail banking experience is required; a minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience is also required. Experience with personal video teller systems is a strong plus.

 

 

HR-Payroll & Benefits Coordinator:  The HR-Payroll & Benefits Coordinator plays an essential role within Montana Credit Union’s human resources team, providing comprehensive support across core HR functions. This position is responsible for accurate and compliant payroll processing, benefits administration, onboarding, employee relations, records management, and engagement initiatives. As the credit union’s primary liaison for payroll and benefits, this role contributes to a positive and inclusive workplace experience. A high degree of professionalism and strict confidentiality are required in handling sensitive employee and organizational information. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a service-focused approach to employee support and compliance. A minimum of 3 years' experience in HR administration and/or payroll processing is required; strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, HR compliance standards, leave management practices, HRIS and payroll systems will be strongly preferred, as well as  experience in a financial institution or regulated environment.

 

Loan Officer:  Loan Officers are a trusted financial advocate at Montana Credit Union, responsible for guiding members through lending solutions that empower their financial futures. This role involves interviewing applicants, analyzing creditworthiness, approving or denying loans within authority, and ensuring members fully understand their financial options. The Loan Officer also assists with account services and supports other transactional needs to deliver a seamless and personalized member experience.

With a member-first mindset and deep knowledge of consumer lending, this position promotes Montana Credit Union’s products and services in alignment with individual financial goals. The Loan Officer builds trust through clear communication, thoughtful problem-solving, and a commitment to service excellence. Member Service Representative:  Member Service Representatives serve as a trusted guide for our members as they navigate financial services, creating a warm, professional, and welcoming experience. You’ll play a vital role in supporting membership growth by opening accounts, processing transactions, and assisting with a variety of services both in person and over the phone.

Teller/PVT:  Tellers are often the first point of contact for our members, whether in the lobby, drive-thru, or through Personal Teller Machines (PTMs)—creating a warm, professional, and welcoming experience. You’ll play a vital role in supporting daily member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account inquiries, while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and security.
