Payment Solutions/Collections Specialist: Are you a self-starter who enjoys working with people? We are looking for an empathetic problem solver to join our Payment Solutions team. The Payment Solutions Specialist works with members to develop payment plans and provide creative solutions to collect on overdue accounts when possible.

The Payment Solutions Specialist is responsible for the control of late and/or delinquent loan accounts, negative accounts, and charge-offs. They provide timely, courteous, and empathetic service and account information to members in person, over the phone, online (email/texts), and by mail. They interview members to determine the reason for the negative balance and/or delinquency, advise regarding financial obligations, and offer suggestions about the best course of action.

This position requires a strong knowledge of collections processes (including bankruptcies, repossessions, legal actions, loan extension/modifications, and collateral protection), effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills, and self-awareness to understand and empathize with members while recognizing and managing personal emotions in a positive way.


Member Relations Guide:  The Member Relations Guide is the first person you meet when coming to Montana Credit Union! The Guide will be responsible for greeting and assisting members and/or vendors and acting as a liaison to ensure that their branch experience is positive, memorable, and that expectations are exceeded. The ideal candidate will be a career-minded individual with exceptional customer service skills, who will display a cooperative, positive and professional attitude at all times. We are looking for someone who is highly efficient and organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a busy environment. Two years customer service experience will be preferred.


Personal Video Teller (PVT) - Looking for a rewarding and stable career? We are looking for a full-time Teller/Personal Video Teller (PVT) to join our team. PVTs are responsible for serving members via our Personal Teller Machines as well as on the teller line (both lobby and drive up). This is a full-time position that includes rotating shifts to include opening, closing, and Saturdays.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and will display a positive and professional attitude. We are looking for someone who takes personal initiative, is a team player, and will embrace the Credit Union’s Philosophy (see “Vision Statement” and “Statement of Values” on Montana Credit Union’s homepage). Our Personal Video Tellers are responsible for processing a variety of financial transactions, including: check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, credit card and loan payments, and balancing of a cash drawer. Attention to detail, including verbal and written instructions, strict confidentiality, compliance with Credit Union regulations, and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems are required for this position.

If you have great attention to detail, are able to multi-task efficiently in a busy work environment, have outstanding interpersonal skills, and are able to work both independently and as part of a team, this could be the job for you!
